Anne’s paintings are bright and vivid and cause for warm, cheerful memories of the Canadian countryside.

My Story

I am an oil painter from Kitchener, Ontario, Canada, and have been working as an Artist and Illustrator for over 25 years.

My work is a reflection of my commitment to education in the Arts with its strong painterly brushwork and narrative qualities.

Bachelor of Fine Arts, Western University 1991
OCAD 1992
Honours Illustration Diploma, Sheridan College 1994

I have created illustrations for many local and national publishing and design firms, while my paintings have been collected through galleries, curated exhibitions and private commissions.

While still maintaining a love and passion for beautifully rendered drawings, Anne now dedicates herself to full time oil painting within her Kitchener studio.

Anne credits Top Ten Artist for the McMichael Gallery fundraiser for both 2017 and 2018, as well as being a selected artist for the KW Art Gallery Annual Black and Gold Gala Fundraiser (2014 to present).

Anne also credits illustrations in national magazines such as Chatelaine, Canadian Living and Todays Parent.

In between exhibitions and shows, you may find Anne volunteering within reception and events at the KW Art Gallery. Anne has also participated in several fundraisers donating proceeds from art sales to important causes such as the Food Bank of Waterloo Region and Womens Crisis Services of Waterloo Region.

Anne’s work is noted for its resemblance and comparative style to the Group of Seven, which Anne accepts wholeheartedly.
